ProChafe chafe protection comes in two families: openable hook & loop sleeves that install in the field, and closed tubes fitted before splicing. All are woven from high-performance fibres and sized to the rope.
An openable hook & loop sleeve with different surface friction inside and out: the inner layer lets the rope adjust under load, while the outer face minimises movement against the contact surface.
UHMWPE (white) and polyester (black)
A hook & loop sleeve woven from 100% UHMWPE with low friction on both faces. Light, floating and highly abrasion resistant — with optional coatings for further performance.
100% UHMWPE
A closed tubular sleeve with most of the features of CPRO Mooring H&L, normally fitted before the rope is spliced — at the factory or on site. Woven from UHMWPE, aramid and polyester.
UHMWPE / aramid / polyester
Choose CPRO Mooring H&L or CPRO Pure H&L when sleeves must be fitted, inspected or replaced on ropes already in service.
Choose CPRO Mooring Tube for permanent protection installed before the rope is spliced — or sized to pull over the eye on site.
ProChafe supplies standardised fastening-band configurations for positioning the sleeve and for connection and pulling — particularly useful for CPRO Mooring H&L and CPRO Mooring Tube.
